Increasing complexity in a data driven society

We live in a data driven society. Organizations used to get their information from  few reliable sources, they now have to learn to deal with almost infinite amounts of unreliable sources of  data.

By using smartphones, other devices and web applications  we create enormous amounts of data, added to that the data that companies, media outlets and governments create. We now face the challenge of turning those data into knowledge, information and insights.  Decision makers have to learn to cope with this new situation. They can by using new technologies with an extreme potential however their organizations have to be ready for that.
